Competition dispute resolution

North East Strategic Health Authority disputes resolution process

The SHA has set up a dispute resolution process based on national Principles and rules for co-operation and competition. The SHA process will handle disputes about the application of and adherence to these principles.

Should you want to raise a dispute with the strategic health authority (SHA) relating to breaches of the Principles and rules for co-operation and competition, having first been through the PCT disputes resolution process, you can complete the electronic form below.

The initial part of the form will enable you to review your dispute against our acceptance criteria.  To ensure that you meet our criteria it will be necessary for you to complete the checklist contained within the form.  By completing the form you are confirming that you consent to the resolution of the dispute using the North East SHA dispute resolution process (DRP). You are encouraged to raise all issues within a reasonable timescale in order that the SHA can investigate the matter.  The SHA will attempt to resolve your dispute within our published timescales. Any extension to the timescale will be by agreement with the parties concerned.

The SHA will send your submission to the parties named in the dispute. If the submission contains confidential information, you should indicate this clearly so that the information can be protected. This form will be used to lodge the dispute and should contain only the detail necessary for an assessment to be made. If further information is required, this will be requested.  If your dispute meets our acceptance criteria and we decide to review the dispute, we may publish details of the dispute, including your business name on our website.

In order for us to process your dispute efficiently and effectively please complete all the relevant fields in the dispute resolution form with appropriate information.  If you require further advice or assistance please contact on 0191 210 6421.
