Good ideas investment fund

The good ideas investment fund 2009/10 and 2010/11 has been a great success with over 130 applications from individuals, teams and organisations and their partners working across the north east.
After a very robust application process 21 projects were successful in receiving funding. Examples of successful projects include:
- the implementation of cardiac monitoring in the community
- improvements to bowel care
- design of a new model of primary care
- improved access to patients with mental health issues
