We all know that excellent patient care can only be provided by a well trained and well planned workforce. From doctors and nurses, to scientists and porters, every member of staff has an important part to play in making our north east NHS world class. If we are to continue to meet patients’ needs, we must get the right workforce in place to deliver the services of the future.
The North East NHS has a regional workforce team who help plan and supply the workforce needed to deliver the ambitious plans set out in the regional Our vision, our future report and in Lord Darzi's High Quality Care for All report.
